Well, my name is Megan Ruiz. One could say that my passion for teaching truly began when I was just a young toddler, enthusiastically teaching my stuffed animals using my little chalkboard at home. I was born and raised in Miami. I decided to go to Florida International University and graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Early Childhood Development.

Ten years ago, I landed my very first job at a local preschool, and that was when I officially embarked on my career in education. After spending five years in the classroom, I decided to take a leap of faith and open my own tutoring company. I’m genuinely passionate about helping students discover the incredible joy of learning and the endless possibilities it brings.

At The Traveling Teacher, we believe education should be accessible to all. Our mission is to create engaging learning experiences from home, nurturing each student's unique strengths and interests.
